Personal pitch

My name is Olivier Klap, i am 25 years old and i am currently living in Paris. During my youth i had the chance to spend 4 years of my life oversea. I graduated from high school and did my first 2 years of bachelor at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and spend a full semester in Praga. To broaden my vision of the world, i am intending to study study in Japan for the first semester next year. At the moment i am studying a master of international Business at Paris School of Business. During my previous experiences I had the opportunity to be working as a commercial or a sale agent. I was selling different products for different companies. This allowed me to use and develop selling techniques which i really enjoyed. If an opportunity was given to me i would really appreciate working in the same field to acquire more experience and develop new skills.

How he manages his energy

Olivier Klap's main drivers lead him to prioritise stability. He channels his energy into getting sound bearings and establishing reliable points of reference. He enjoys being able to establish an even rhythm for his daily activity at work. He avoids making decisions that may put him in a position of uncertainty.

The activities he prefers

Olivier Klap is interested in the process of organising work. He enjoys setting rules and defining standards for completing projects. He could find it frustrating to begin working on project tasks without having previously defined a clear roadmap.

Evaluating is an activity in which Olivier Klap can invest himself because he seeks to master all subjects within his scope. He enjoys contributing his vision of work and challenging the opinions of others. However, he is less keen on focusing on activities that isolate him from others, which can often be the case with this type of activity.

Olivier Klap takes advantage of the energy that comes from competition. It pushes him to invest himself to propelling projects, and to give the best of himself in order to succeed. However, he isn't always the first to get a project underway because he needs an external driver to get him to invest himself fully.

His ideal manager

He believes a leader must set clear rules, listen to others and promote teamwork. He needs someone who will guide him and inspire a strong team identity.

The ideal culture for him

Olivier Klap is well suited for competitive cultures, where expectations are clear, and results are valued above all. He will thrive in structured and disciplined work environments, where everyone respects established rules. He considers that type of stability important because it allows teams to focus on attaining objectives, without distractions. These conditions reassure him and allow him to invest himself in the long term. Conversely, he will be less fulfilled in highly improvisational environments, or in organisations which lack clearly defined goals.
